Be it known therefore unto you that the salvation of God is sent to the nations, and they will hear it.  Acts 28:28

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.                         James 1:27  ASV

Mrs. Lawan's Children's Homes

CFE has helped to support Mrs. Lawans orphanages for more than 10 years.  She is making some great disciples for Christ.  The children love God, have good Christian character, and many go out and begin churches on their own.

In 2012, Mrs. Lawan and her staff were evangelizing in villages, and the people were so poor and they said they could not take care of their children anymore and they wanted Mrs. Lawan to take them and to educate them.  Also, some people began to abandon their small children at the children's home.  Mrs. Lawan is a woman of faith and she has a great heart for sharing Jesus with children, so in faith she accepted 90 new children, all from non Christian homes. It was in faith because there was no funding to take care of them.  But she knew these children's needed salvation through Jesus Christ, so she took responsibility for them, in addition to the 60 children she was already caring for.

Then a miracle happened in that a church from her denomination was being abandoned, because there were not enough people in the church, so she was told she could use that land for the new children's home.  Since then a new dorm has been built.  The children are a little close when they eat and they sleep, but they are happy to have food and a place to receive an education.  And most of the children have already come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Pastor Timothy's Children's Home of Two Children in Cambodia

Lin and her brother Luey come from an terribly abusive background.  Their father is a drunk who often yelled and beat the children.  Their mother tried to take care of them, but with her husband drunk and not working it was difficult to take care of the family.  One day their mother swam across a river in an attempt to reach an ant hill where she planned to collect ants for the family to eat.  But the current was too strong and it swept her away and she drowned.  So only the drunken father was there to take care of the children, but he only continued in his abuse and neglect.  Fortunately Lin and Luey's uncle took them in, but he was too poor to adequately take care of them. So they are now at the church and they are being fed and cared for by the church members and by support from CFE.  Lin used to be very quiet and shy, but now she talks and plays with the other kids.  Please pray that both Lin and Luey will grow up to know, to love, and to serve the Lord.
